The Callihan Creek Cabin is a family & dog friendly cabin in Blue Ridge, GA located on 2 serene private acres of forest. Listen to the babbling brook by the fire pit or sip your morning coffee on the wraparound porch. Enjoy a fun-filled game room. Venture out for tubing, hiking, swimming, ziplining, boating, horseback riding, apple picking, wineries, the famous Scenic Railway, and many other outdoor activities.
The cabin has 2300 sqft of living space to spread out and enjoy with 3 bedrooms, a loft, a game room and 3 bathrooms. There are 2 lush acres of forest to explore on the property, plus the relaxing creek.
The living room features a large sitting area by the fireplace adjoined by the dining area and well-stocked kitchen.
Each of the 3 floors has a bedroom with door and full bathroom. Each bathroom has a tub/shower combo. A Smart TV is found in every sleeping area.
The loft upstairs has a comfy futon to use for sitting or sleeping. A variety of board games are available with a table to enjoy a family game night.
The basement boasts a fun-filled game room that will provide hours of enjoyment, including air hockey, basketball, an arcade and more. There is also a futon available for sitting to watch movies or for sleeping. The basement has a DVD player with your choice of movies to watch. The futons are queen size and will sleep 2.
Smart TVs are located in most rooms, where guests can use their own streaming log-in to enjoy their favorite shows/movies. Some programming is available on the TVs.
Get the best nature has to offer by spending time outdoors. The sound of the creek sets the mood for the entire property. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the double decker wraparound porch or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. The cabin has 2 acres of forest to explore and backs up to more forest land.
We offer self-check-in, and will only be a text or phone call away until 9pm. You will receive a message with check-in instructions and your personal door code to enter the cabin a day or two before your stay. Please make a note of your door code in case you don’t have internet access upon arrival. We leave our home in your hands. Please take care of it.
There is parking allowing for 3 cars to conveniently park in front of the cabin. Neighbors on either side are far enough away that their homes can barely be seen behind the trees.
The cabin has central air and heat. There is a gas heater in the basement for additional warmth when needed.
A family of deer like to pass through the property. Please do not feed them or scare them. They are part of this great place, and this is their home. You may come across other wildlife, as the property is in the woods. At times a bug may enter, in spite of all pest control efforts. This is a part of being out in nature. No refunds will be given due to wildlife.
The cabin is dog friendly. However, they must be approved by host prior to visit. There is a $150 pet fee for the first pet and additional fees for multiple pets. Guests are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning caused by their pet.
The Callihan Creek Cabin is off the beaten path, where guests can really get lost in nature to unwind, or can run into town in 15 minutes. A Super Wal-Mart and Home Depot are a great stop on the way in to pick up firewood, as wood is not provided. The cabin is in a residential community, but the homes are very spaced out and difficult to spot behind the trees. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Many of them live there, and some may be visitors like you.

There is no need for a 4WD. The drive in is not difficult or steep, but proceed onto Oak Ln with caution to avoid scraping the bottom of low profile vehicles. The cabin sits on a road with only 4 cabins well spaced apart. If you’re not used to curvy mountain roads, you may prefer to arrive before dark.
The nearest gas station is 5 miles away from the cabin, so keep this in mind to ensure you have enough gas when you start out of town.
